A New Era In The Life Of Matt
Today marks a new chapter in the life of Matt Geri 
Today was my first official day working at Younique. Yep! I have a job. I will be working on 2 very cool projects with the infamous Younique team. I am totally excited about the opportunity to work, learn and grow my skills as a developer.
So why did I take a job? For a couple of reasons…
- To become a developer. I see myself working as a developer full time one day and by doing WordPress client work I wasn’t moving in the right direction. I was spending too much time in Photoshop and too little time in gEdit!
- To learn. This kinda ties into the above point a little, but I took a job to be able to work and learn from like-minded developers. My goal at the moment is to become the best developer I can be and so that meant working with a team that uses a lot of different development technologies and learning as much as I can. Younique was a perfect fit!
- To add value. Hopefully by working with Younique I can add value to their business and also help them grow.
- I just couldn’t turn down the opportunity to work with the awesome team at Younique
So ya! I am now officially a working man Thanks to Tyler and Denham for taking it easy on me on my first day. I better learn how to make coffee now hey guys?

Yep! I had to do my first beer run on Friday. I actually had to do 2. Beer goes down fast in the office
Hahahaha! I can believe it with THOSE two there =)
